Teaching / Performing

I offer lessons on Saxophone, Clarinet, and Flute from absolute beginner to advanced. I can also offer help with music theory, and composition (i.e for GCSE projects etc). Teaching is tailored to your individual requirements. I have an abundance of patience and always seek to encourage my students. Regular monthly goals are given to younger learners with a small choice of prize each month upon completion. Exams may be taken, but are by no means compulsory. Lessons often contain a variety of technical work, memory work, performance skills, ensemble playing (duets, or with CD/Piano accompaniment) aural training, composition,  improvisation and more. Repertoire ranges vastly (again tailored to your requirements) and can range from swing, big band, Bach, Debussy, ballads etc right through to current pop hits such as Sean Paul, Adele, Coldplay,...you decide!

All students are given or emailed a newsletter every quarter containing teaching dates, useful information, and sometimes tips on effective practice etc or other topics and 24/7 access to the 'students area' on this website for up to date teaching dates, ensemble workshops, concerts, online newsletter and more. Keri regularly creates opportunities to regularly take part in student concerts, workshops and more.

Lessons are usually 30 or 60 minutes long to suit your requirements. Please contact me for further information regarding tuition either via the 'contact me' page or directly on 07784 200095.

An instrument can usually be provided for a first lesson before you decide to commit to buy an instrument.
